Introduction
[Wind]
Time-Flow-Form, built in the skirts of a mountain, where the magnificent South Alps range can be seen, is an atelier of a ceramic artist and a guesthouse. There is only a field in this site and it is not in the circumference of other buildings. In addition, the road is not paved, and the boundary of the site is vague. Circumstances of the site that might constrain or affect architectural design are few. Almost the only factor imposing order on the site is the north wind, under whose influence the trees have come to lean all in the same direction.
This building, turning down and defending from the wind, is covered with a big roof. Skylights and courtyards are arranged on the roof, and the inside is subdivided not by walls but by light. The form of the building has been determined by study of the wind.

Time-Flow-Formは雄大な南アルプスを見ることができる山の裾野に建つ、陶芸家のアトリエ兼ゲストハウスである。周辺は畑で、他の建築物は周囲には全くない、そして道路は舗装されておらず、敷地の境界はあいまいで設計のきっかけとなるようなものはほとんどない場所である。ただ唯一、そこに生えている木々を同じ方向に傾かせる「風」だけがこの場所の秩序となっている。
この建物は身を伏せ風から身を守るように大きな屋根に覆われている。屋根にはトップライトと光庭を配置し、内部の大空間は壁ではなく光によって領域を分けられている。建物の形態は風を使ったスタディにより決定されている。
